Mary Pulford has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at VizArts (TafeSA), O’Halloran Hill, majoring in printmaking, and has also completed Honours (First Class) at UniSA. 

Mary uses copper etching, linocuts, and photopolymer techniques to explore themes ranging from observation of the natural world through to childhood memories.

In combination with printmaking, Mary enjoys creating Artists’ Books, often experimenting with form and function.

Mary teaches both children’s and adults art classes, and as a result of this has to be confident in a range of techniques and media including drawing, painting, mosaics and ceramics, as well as printmaking.

Mary exhibits her work regularly, and has work at Art Images Gallery, Urban Cow Studio and Gallery, Pepper Street Arts Centre and Fleurieu Arthouse. Mary has taken part in many previous group exhibitions throughout Adelaide, selected exhibitions interstate, and in the U.K. Mary’s work is held in private collections in Australia, U.K., Canada and U.S.A.

Mary is also an active member of both Bittondi Printmakers Association Inc and the Willunga Artisans and Handmade Market.
